We believe in simplicity & honesty. This is how we run every aspect of our business. From your experience here to film delivery; we aim to make every step of the process clear & straightforward.
Our Films
We offer two lengths of film: our highlight film & our short film. Both are filmed in our signature style.
Highlight Film (5-7 minutes)
Feature Film (18-24 minutes)
With each film, we deliver a 1-minute shareable film. Optional add-ons include a full film of your ceremony or toasts.

Who We Are
We are a husband and wife team that have been creating wedding films since 2014.
We met & fell in love in film school at Emerson College in Boston.
We launched Juliane & Alex in Austin, Texas in 2014.
Ultimately, New England called us home & we moved Juliane & Alex to the Northeast in 2023.
We now reside in Providence, RI with our son & two mutts.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many hours are you at my wedding?
We don’t base our prices on an hourly rate. Instead, we’ll work with you & your coordinator to establish what makes the most sense based on your schedule. We’re typically there 1 hour before the bride puts on her dress through the end of your celebration.
How will you get along with my photographer?
We work closely with your photographer to ensure everyone can capture everything they need- after all; we’re a team working to capture your day! Because we are focused on authentic moments, we’ll let your photographer take the lead on any pictures & posing, while we’ll primarily be focused on the moments in between.
Why do all your films look like they were filmed in the south?
Because they were! We relocated our business to New England in 2023 & are currently booking for the 2024 wedding season. So the majority of our weddings up until now were filmed in Austin, TX (though we did travel some! Our favorite destination was Spitz, Austria- you can see that wedding here).
How would you describe your style?
We’re all about it: cinematic grace & journalistic truth. What we mean by cinematic grace: we want your film to be breathtakingly beautiful. We studied film & care about lens choice, lighting, framing, and more! At the same time however, we value journalistic truth. We’re not creating moments- we’re capturing them. We won’t be staging you, telling you how to stand or look at each other, we’ll just be capturing what actually happens.
Will I feel self-conscious knowing you’re filming me?
In order to capture authentic moments, we keep as low a profile as possible. Many of our couples have said they barely even notice us on their wedding day, and that’s a huge compliment! Besides keeping a low profile, we’ll be sure to get to know you, your preferences, & your style before your wedding, so you can rest assured that you’ll feel comfortable & at ease.
Do you have a drone?
Yes! We love to fly our drone, and do so whenever safe & allowed.
